OUR HISTORY
Jabula means "rejoice" in Zulu and dancing is our way of sharing our happiness as well as adding value to the community.
We are truly one of a kind and provide a unique atmosphere. Everything was carefully thought out in order to give dancers the best possible and most fun experience.

OUR FAMILY
Tendai Mudunge (Mr. T)
Mr. T is an upcoming instructor and promoter who first fell in love with bachata & kizomba in Vancouver in 2015.
​
Since then he continues to evolve as a dancer and grow from strength to strength by dancing up a storm with some of the top dancers at different congresses and by taking workshops from different artists across Canada.
His greatest strength is his charming personality and nothing makes him happier than seeing all the smiles on the dance floor.
He is very passionate about sharing his knowledge and spreading his love for bachata & kizomba across Newfoundland.

Nicole Boland (Nicki B)
Our assistant director Nicki B is a long term - lover of dance but found her niche in salsa and bachata in 2015 (She has been hooked ever since).

Nicole meet Mr. T on the dance floor during a social at the Rockhouse in 2016. Since then her dancing career has never been the same ..!!
​
Nicki B together with Mr. T & Mini T are the dream team which continues to dance up a storm & successfully collaborates on all types Latin dances.
She always goes out of her to ensure that Jabula provides the best & most fun experience for all. She does this by providing balanced and impartial advice on all key decisions.
​
Although she is currently dancing her way across Nunavut, she is a critical member of the team. She assists with the long term planning, logistics, and promotion.
Tinoe Mudunge (Mini T)
Our assistant director Tinoe is a bachata & kizomba superstar in the making.
Just like his brother his passion & love for dancing is unquestionable.
Although his dancing background is in hip hop & african dance, he has strong desire to continue expanding his dancing repertory.

In collaboration with our team of directors and helpers he assists with our events planning, manages class bookings and coordinates our social media community outreach.

Prafull Sh
Our assistant director Prafull is no stranger to the dancing scene on the rock.
Originally from Mumbai (the heart of Bollywood), his passion for dancing is unmatched & his musicality is off the charts.
Although his dancing background is in Bollywood, he has received training in salsa, bachata, merengue & ballroom from renowned instructors across Canada.
​
He also teaches Bollywood at YMCA in St. John's and continues to collect accolades for his Bollywood music mixes.
​
On top of many other things, in collaboration with our team of directors his main will be adding a bollywood touch to our bachata.
